Join us for a free public screening of this amazing award winning film in Richmond Library.
The film is about Skateistan, a nonprofit organization, which started as a skate school in 2007 for girls from impoverished neighborhoods learning to read, write, and skateboard in Kabul, Afghanistan, where young women are not allowed to participate in sporting activities.

Prior to this film at 4 PM there will be an opportunity for young girls to learn some easy skateboard tricks with Skate School Nelson and Kōhine Māia - Bold & Confident Teenage Girls.
